Jennifer's Body
Jennifer's Body is a 2009 American comedy horror film written by Diablo Cody and directed by Karyn Kusama. Megan Fox stars as Jennifer Check, a demonically possessed high school student who kills her male classmates and devours their flesh in order to survive. Amanda Seyfried co-stars as the friend who tries to end her killing spree, with Johnny Simmons, J. K. Simmons, Amy Sedaris, and Adam Brody in supporting roles. Working with Cody again following their collaborative efforts on Juno, Jason Reitman stated he and his producers "want to make unusual films". Cody said she wanted the film to speak to female empowerment and explore the complex relationships between best friends. As a tie-in to the film, Boom! Studios produced a Jennifer's Body graphic novel, released in August 2009. Jennifer's Body premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 10, 2009, and was theatrically released in the United States and Canada on September 18, 2009. The film had a lackluster performance at the box office, grossing $31.6 million against a budget of $16 million, but received mixed reviews from critics, with its dialogue, emotional resonance and performances being praised, while the narrative and uneven tone were criticized. It has been described as a feminist cult classic.
We are gathered here to celebrate the life of Colin Gray, who was plucked from the prime of his youth Colin! Take me with you! I belong down there... in the darkness! No, Kevin. Those are just his earthly remains. He's among the dark angels ofthe realm now. Fly, Colin. Fly into the firmament.

Colin wouldn't like this. You think so? Yeah, you're right. I'm pretty sure my son wouldn't have liked being eaten by a fucking cannibal... and buried before his 18th birthday. Wow. You must have known him so well. Jill. By the time they found Colin in that godforsaken house, he looked like lasagna with teeth. I'd know. I had to identify the remains. My boy... is not in the realm ofthe undead. He is not flying around in the firmament... on magical wings of flame. He's in an overpriced rosewood box... that's headed six feet downtown.
